ARCHAEOLOGY DEPARTMENT
----------------------------------
The Archaeology Department is synonmous with the Bucksworth Building, one of the original structures built for the University in 1896. The new facade was erected in 1923. Donated by Lady Wilma Bucksworth in loving memory of her husband, the archeologist Lord Randall Bucksworth, who went missing during the 1922 University sponsored Khartoum dig. Many of the Egyptian artifacts from that dig are currently on exhibit in this building.

MUSIC DEPARTMENT
-----------------------
The Music Department is fortunate to be in one of the original structures built by Alberto Magnus for the University in 1896. Using a combination of Astrological charts, Chinese Feng Shui, and estimated Geological Fault lines, Magnus not only succeeded in placing the building in complete celestial and environmental harmony, but musical harmony as well. Boasting acoustics to rival the Greek Pantheon, you can drop a pin in the lower basement and hear it ring clearly in the top rehearsal room.

ART DEPARTMENT
----------------------
Students at can study everything from Ceramics to Sufi Weaving in the Artie Carter Art Center. Students have grown to love The Center which Picasso, on his sole visit to the University, called it "An atrocious blight on the face of Mother Gaia." The building is named for the mostly unknown sculptor and alum Arthur "Artie" Carter. Carter is only known for his final piece "Mobile # 166," a mobile built for the sole purpose of counterbalancing Artie's own weight, and in a fit of dispair, served as his own gallows. "Mobile #166" and a Artie Carter wax figure hang today in the lobby of the building's main atrium. One of the most common activities during Fraternity Hazing week is to graffiti the side of The Center.
